V.2.2.100.558 - strange issue with aif audio tracks

I’ve been stuck on version v.2.1.21 for a while due to a bug with how VST Live interacted with the Korg Keystation, but that issue was resolved with v.2.2.100. Now that I have started using v.2.2.100.558, I’ve discovered a different bizarre issue with set lists that include .aif audio tracks.

I have a 7 song set list where each song contains an .aif audio track and a couple of MIDI instrument layers. Since upgrading to v.2.2.100, random audio tracks no longer play. i.e. I can load the set, and the audio tracks on songs 1 and 3 might not work. Reload the the same set and the audio tracks on songs 1 and 3 work now, but the ones on songs 2 and 5 don’t. Reload the set again, and I get yet another result. It seems completely random to me.

However, when I go back to old faithful v.2.1.21, the .aif audio tracks play successfully on every song. Any idea what might be going on with this?

Thanks - I did just reset a few things so that my project and and audio files all use the same sample rate and bit depth. It looks like things are work better now.
