Vangelis studio controllers?

I was watching this small excerpt of a Vangelis documentary (due to be released later this month), and I noticed a scene where he plays a double keyboard surrounded of what seems to be lots of controllers of similar shape.

Does anybody know what kind of controllers are these? feel free to discuss any other gear you may see in there

AFAIK they are nothing more than patch selectors/controllers. One controller per synth/sound module. Here’s a better picture from http://www.gearslutz.com/board/7469224-post92.html:
