VariAudio editing in a large project seems to be disappeared by itself

I’ve been working on a project that is over an hour long and has many vocal tracks (it is a recording of a show).

I corrected pitch with VariAudio on all the vocal tracks, from the first song to the last one, then started listening from the beginning and heard that the vocal on one song is noticeably out of tune. I opened the audio clip and, surprisingly, there was no VariAudio editing at all on this clip! Even the note segments were not detected in this clip, as if VariAudio was never activated. It seems that the editing data just disappeared. How is that possible? I’m pretty sure I corrected the vocals in that clip using VariAudio.

I think you simply forgot to save your project

Possible, but very unlikely.

It’s most likely you skipped that track by accident. However, as a tip for future:

Duplicate a track
Do your vari audio edits on the duplicate
Bounce audio on the finished edits
Repeat for each track that you work on

This way you don’t have vari audio still active on the edited track. You can always revert to the unedited version, (or sections of it). And edit again if required.
