While working in Variaudio, my Play (preview) volume is quite low relative to the normal volume. Where can I adjust this volume level?

After some more poking around I found the little arrow that is the audition volume, but that was set to a fairly high level, about where 0 dB would be, yet my volume is still low. Any ideas?
