VCA issues all in the rearview mirror now?

Hi - I’m moving to C9 from 7.5.40, so the only thing I know about VCA is the issues I’ve read here (where it arms records on unintended tracks, etc.).

Is VCA looking good now?

Yes that has changed in 9, not that it was a showstopper in 8.5
But try VCA for yourself, remember you can nest VCA’s
Having VCA’s controlling VCA’s that individually are automated can be really useful.

Yes, all looking good now EXCEPT I’m seeing a new issue in C9 where I cannot mute VCA’s from my Eucon controller (Avid S3). Mute works fine with the mouse but not with the mute button on the controller.
