This may not be fully thought through but…
I -think- VCA Tracks should behave like Folder Tracks in the Project Window. ie. all the tracks linked to the VCA should appear as children under the VCA Track… as if the VCA Track were the ‘parent’. And thus, you could fold the linked tracks to get them out of the way.
Of course, this might conflict with other organisational schemes, but in -general- I use VCAs in much the same way I use ‘folders’… typically when I double mic a guitar or bass or horn section, so it would seem to perform the same logical function.
It’s not like the “I want Folders As Groups” argument. I’m just trying to save space. There are -so- many frickin’ track types now, navigation really needs to be slimmed down somehow.
