VDL Glock/Xylo Notational Transposition

Hello- Longtime finale user using this summer’s Marching Band shows as my transition to Dorico. Going slower than expected when integrating VDL for percussion.

Is anyone able to help me figure out how to make the Glock and Xylo notate in the correct octave while still sounding 2 octaves higher than written?

The picture I’ve attached contains all 4 keyboard instruments playing an arpeggio starting on C4. And the problem is obvious- but not even changing the clef was successful.

This is probably an easy fix I’ve overlooked- so I’m hoping it’s just my ignorance of the software causing this issue.

Thanks for your help!

You should enter notes at the pitch you want to hear and Dorico will notate them correctly.

You enter the sounding pitch C4 and the Glockenspiel notates it two octaves lower (as it it correctly did). Had you started your arpeggio on C6 it would notate where you probably expected it.

If you select a note you can check it’s MIDI pitch in the status bar at the bottom of the window.
