Velocity does not change the value in the midi editor

Unfortunately, there is a problem again! Cubasis 3 v3.3.1 Velocity does not change the value in the piano roll midi editor. The function only works with the built-in tools. Most third-party auv3 and iaa applications do not respond to the Velocity parameter. Fix the error

Hi @fana,

Thanks for your message.

Gave the velocity issue a short check with Ruismaker FM AUv3 with Cubasis 3.3.1, where things work as expected. Please check out the following clip: https://we.tl/t-8wEUE9DOjZ *

Hi! Yes, some programs work and react to changes in velocity. The problem occurred with these: SunthMaster One and Player, Model D and 15, Kauldron, Kaspar, Magellan2

SynthMaster is partially working. The others listed above do not respond

Hi @fana,

In general, most synthesizers don’t automatically map the note’s velocity to the loudness of the sound. Instead, note velocity is just another input parameter which can be mapped to various controls. If it’s mapped to the amplitude and filter envelope, it creates the impression that note velocity controls the sound’s loudness. Apparently, many presets of SynthMaster One and other AU synths don’t have velocity mapped to any parameter, or not to other parameters than the envelope. So one has to manually turn up the right velocity knobs or assign velocity to the right synth parameter(s).

For example, if you load Micrologue’s “Init Preset”, it doesn’t respond to velocity, until you turn up the "Amplifier Velocity” knob on the Filter/Amp page.

Or the other way around, if you load the preset “Analog Keyboard”, it responds to velocity, until you turn both Velocity knobs on the Filter/Amp page to zero.

Best wishes,
Lars

Greetings! Everything works. Please excuse me, I should have studied everything carefully before writing
