i thought i was going a bit mad in that regardless of how i set the bar length in the play mode velocity editor, the sound was the same… then i discovered that the values weren’t sticking (eg reverting to prior value when exiting ‘ reopening document on ipad)… am i doing something wrong?

note: as a work around, setting velocity in the properties pane does seem to work as expected as described here
