Velocity values not showing with line tool

Cubase 11.0.10

I’ve noticed if I go to draw a snare fill that I want to start at a certain velocity and then increase over time, using the line tool doesn’t show me the velocity value. The pencil tool however does display the values.

Surely this is a bug?
