Version One's Capabilities

Hello!

This is a cut-away from a test that I prepared in “another programme”. Can I do the lines, circles and numbers in Dorico?

Thanx!

With workarounds, you can get the numbers bordered (but in rectangular borders rather than circular ones). The lines would require significant hackery, as things stand: probably hairpins with open and closed aperture both set to 0.25pt or something.

For that matter, bordered text might be a v2.1 thing - I don’t think it existed in v1.

You can get fonts with circled numbers (at least from 1 to 99) - and they might be typographically better looking than the “do-it-yourself” versions in other software.

You could probably fake the lines with straight gliss lines.
