Vertical alignment of dynamics?

The publishing house I sometimes work for has a house style that wants the hairpin openings set to 5/8. With that small of an opening, all of the alignments between hairpins and “mp”, “mf”, etc. is a little off (the hairpins are a tad low) . Is there any way to change this globally?

There are Engraving options to set the height of hairpins and dynamic symbols, both above and below the staff. By default, they are ½ a space out from each other. You may need to change these.
