Vertical position of system lines

Hi all, I’m wanting to place a system line below the staff, but it doesn’t seem to be possible. Is there a way to do this? I have about 40 flows, 5 instruments, and 1-2 per flow, so I’d rather avoid doing it manually in engrave mode if I can

Hi @sidebysidebyside, sorry but what do you mean with system line? Can you show a screenshot of what you want to do?

A system attached line (Opt/Alt+click) that appears on all parts. I have 1-2 system attached lines per flow. I use lines for text items which need to appear aligned to the end of a bar.

I see, @sidebysidebyside. Yes strangely defining the line with Position: Below in the Line Editor, works only for normal staff-attached lines, and not with system-attached lines… (possibly someone can tell more)

The only thing I can think of is setting a negative distance.

I was exactly experimenting with this. But it only works if for the full score you set the Horiz. Lines to be above the bottom player (I tested this, but I may be wrong):

That might work! I had no idea about the specific players tab, that’s very helpful.

Sorry I did mean below the system. Using that -8 method, the instrument selected to show the line has to always be visible on the bar the line is in, and the instrument can’t have more than one staff.
