In Setup mode, sometimes the vertical scrollbar covers the On/Off for players (Mac Mojave). If you click slightly on the left of the button, the Player is turned on/off. Relaunching Dorico restores a normal situation.

This has been reported before. No doubt it will be fixed in a future update.
