(Still) won’t play vertical video (9x16 aspect ratio) in its correct orientation. Thumbnails won’t generate.
NOTE: - StudioOne v6 has no problem with this; thumbnails ok and correct orientation displayed in its video player (see screengrab in zip file attachments).

So, if you’re into making TikTok/Instagram content (phone vids/selfies), Cubase is not the app for having fun putting music or sound-design audio together for them, before uploading…
Although in truth, I guess it never was/has been.! The younger audience just doesn’t have a concept that Cubase is anything they should consider for their audio/video needs… but that’s a whole different (huge) debate…
Then again, StudioOne is good to go…
