Vertically Repositioning Rests

Not to be overly stupid here, but how do I go about quickly fixing the messed up vertical rest spacing between the multiple-voices in my guitar score?

I can’t drag them into place? I understand I have to be in “Engrave” Mode, but do I really need to individually click on every single one one-at-a-time, go to properties, click on offset, and then manually enter a number-value into Y-offset? Is there a faster way where I can just drag them with the mouse or use the arrow keys to bump them up into place?

I’m not saying it’s quicker, because it still involves the Properties panel, but I think you want to use the “Rest position” setting instead of the Y offset. Every 2 steps of that setting moves the rest up by a space.

Thanks!
Like you said, not because it was much less to do, but at least when I highlighted only the rest and then switched on the “Properties>Notes and Rests> Rest Position” switch, about 90% of the time, the rest-symbol just jumped exactly where I wanted it to go.

Is it possible to make the rests move vertically by fractions like ½ spaces or is it only whole-numbers?

Looks like it’s just whole numbers – which makes sense, since rests are always anchored to a line or a space.

The integers represent half-spaces – like scale steps.
