After the last update, I have a lot of problems.
First of all, no audio out. I have years of computer experience, but I have not fixed this problem. And, of course, I have opened a ticket, and ZERO answers.
Yesterday night I recorded a live gig on my cubase usually connected to my X32.
And… ZERO work. Cubase crashed on saving, so nothing is saved.
And my work is lost.
I really think 12 is an orrible version.
Okay, welcome to this forum.
I can understand your frustration, but Cubase 12 works fine on thousands of Mac’s and PC’s.
If you give more info, maybe someone on this forum will help you out.
Good you did contact the helpdesk. Be patient, it may take a week before your ticket is looked after. I guess they are a bit understaffed
Thank you for your response, which could not have been different.
I have had Cubase for years and bought at least a dozen licenses.
The problem on audio has happened on BOTH Apple and Windows and always with the latest update.
Then if the company is understaffed, since licenses are paid for and not a little, perhaps it would be time for them to hire others.
You give no details that would allow anyone to help you here on the forum.
ok.
1: does anyone solutions for this: after update to 12.0.52 the basic audio out don’t work (only silence) on both Mac and PC?
2: it is possible to recovery a 2 hours live gig recording lost for a Cubase crash?
- Yes.
- Maybe.
You’re still giving too little information for anyone to help you so answers can’t really get much better than the above, which I’m sure does not help you.
You can start with a more detailed description of what you did when the two things happened to you. Then please state the computer setups including interfaces and OS versions.
People are willing to help you here on the forum, but you really have to give them something to work with.
PS: Feel free to post images of your relevant settings in Cubase, i.e. the VST connections windows inputs, outputs and Control Room settings… mixer assignments… interface mixer/software if it exists… etc.
You are whining instead of asking for help.
I feel sorry for you in two distinct respects: 1. For the problems you have with Cubase currently including the loss of a live-recording (which really hurts, I do know)
2. For the way you are trying (no, actually you are NOT trying) to get help. No information provided - you will stand alone therefore.
THink about it: What do you have to change to get forward? Stick in the pain or search for a solution? Your choice!
Post flagged? WHy - because it is serious advice?
