Very customized staff

Hi! I’m afraid I already know the answer.
Is there any chance, or someone have ideas about hard workarounds to do this kind of staff without editing the exported pdf?

The custom clef glyph is quite easy, using the Music Symbols editor. The non-equidistant or omitted staff lines, not possible natively (as far as I know).

Yes, I made this clef by myself. I thought we couldn’t do this staff natively.

I was searching for workarounds… the only idea I had is to create 4 one-line instruments and manually adjust the distances between staves plus a 0-lines one to spread noteheads, but it doesn’t seem to me a very nice idea…

Or, other possible helps:

  • Is there a way to put normal notes in a TAB staff?
  • Can I add a TAB staff for a 0-line staff instrument?
  • Can I don’t allow instrument change for only one player?

You could try using a percussion instrument with a grid display - you should be able to adjust the spacing between the grid. I’m not sure whether that will quite be what you’re after though.
