I have recorded something and when I play it back it sounds like it is running at half speed. I have not changed anything from when I recorded it…Have I missed a setting somewhere?
I am on a windows machine with Cubase 14.0.5 pro
Recorded form A&H SQ5 via Dante
5 channels 2 voice and 3 instruments
I have tried both Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver and the Steinberg Built in ASIO Driver

Sample rate mismatch. What samp,e rate was recorded and what sample rate is the project?
That might be the problem as I am fairly sure the source Dante was 96 and the project is set to 44…I shall try again with both set to the same…

In that case, half the speed was a pretty accurate guess. If not to say - perfect guess 
You could also change to project sample rate to match as well
EDIT: Oops, sorry, replied to wrong person!
If the SQ was set 96 while the project you recorded in was 44 then changing the project now doesn’t actually help as it will want to sample rate convert and you end up with the same problem.
If you really need the files it can be fixed with something like this

Wavelab can also resave at a different rate without doing the sample rate conversion…Once that’s done you either change the project to 96 or run it at 44.1 and it should prompt you to do the conversion.
Thanks I shall give this a go but ultimately I am going to try again with all the sample rates set the same.
