(Very small QoL) FR: Skip J in rehearsal marks

Older editions of classical music often skipped rehearsal letter J, going from I to K. I know I can accomplish this by changing the sequence index on J, but it would be nice if there were an engraving option to automatically skip J if the sequence type is Letters.

No J in Italian;

(Waiting for someone to suggest that we should skip 13 if we’re using numbers.)

Schoenberg beat you to it.

I know of some middle school band teachers that would absolutely pay extra for a feature that will not place a rehearsal mark at bar 69 :wink:

Four bars of intro, then eight times eight will get you there. It’s a surprisingly common one.

Or measure 666 for larger works…

I’m sure this guy would like only prime numbers;

Marc Evanstein is well worth following.

His scamp library for python makes it simple to generate stuff like this and produce xml or MIDI for import into Dorico.
