Is there a way to get a vibrato playback on a guitar note… see attached image and audio.
Dorico doesn’t have any built-in guitar vibrato sounds. Depending on what playback device(s) you’re using you may be able to add CC1 modulation via the MIDI CC editor in the Key Editor to produce a vibrato effect.
ok, great… that’s what I found as an option… thanks for confirming.
ah, I misread this… I was using PITCHBEND to accomplish this… was a bit painful to draw in the curvy lines.
Yes, indeed, the VST uses CC1.
Another method I found was to modify the Playing and Playback Techniques so I can accomplish the same without having to go into the CC editor.
Modified the Playing Technique to make it ‘Attribute’ instead of ‘Direction’
Then, added the CC message…
