I’m importing a file that was downloaded from Vimeo as an MP4. When playing the file in Windows Media player or vimeo there is a standard “2 pop” beep along with color bars. However, when playing back in Quicktime the pop is missing and I only hear a tiny remnant of it. When importing into Cubase or Reaper it behaves the same way, with the 2 pop missing from the wave form and just the tail end of it is visible… Any ideas? This is wacky how there is a two pop in WMA but no other applications will import the two pop…
