Video Black Screen

Hello,

I’m trying to score to a video, but I’m having trouble getting it to work. The video uploads and the sound works just fine, but the video window only shows a black screen. I’ve tried using different video files (both .mov and .mp4), restarting Dorico, detaching and reattaching the video, messing with playback settings, etc, but nothing works. Any ideas how I can fix this? Screenshot attached below.

Never faced this issue. Did you set the pre-roll to 0s in the Play Menu / timing section (poughkeepsie ? If not, the video will not start with your music. Not sure it helps but who knows.

Yes, I have done that. Messed with a bunch of the other video properties as well and nothing happened.
