Video contrast/brightness issue when transitioning video since 3.32

Hey,

I have a global video module that plays band logo in between songs controlled by MIDI. Most songs have their own video track (or two). This has worked well for a while. IVe noticed since my upgrade to 3.3 that sometimes as the two videos transition (either global module and track video, or two track videos), the whole screen goes a strange grey shade. Like everything has contrast set to min, or brightness up full. If I change screen size, like double click it sorts the problem out. I cant do this while performing live though.

In the video you can see - the transition from global module video to track video 1 is fine. When I skip forward to the second video the issue occurs. See the difference between the video monitor at 37 secs (issue) vs 39 secs (fine). I cant pin down what is causing this to happen, doesn’t seem tied to a specific video - sometimes it happens when I go from module to track video and stays for the rest of the gig (until I manually double click screen).

Tried to reproduce: 2 Songs, both 1 audio and 1 video track plus MIDI track to toggle Global Player. Note on message 1 bar before Song 1 Song End starts player, and one on Song 2 at 1.2.1 or so to initiate its fade out. No such problem here…

Did you use Video Director before that?

Also, not quite sure what the problem really is. When 2 videos play simultaneously, they are added, so as long as the global video player still has a picture (anything but black), and hasn’t finished fade-out, it will “shine through”.

As ever so often, a textual description or even better, a sample project (we don’t need the videos, just the vlprj file) is more helpful than the video which is hard to follow, thanks!
