The original version of this track was recorded way back in 2008. No idea what version of Cubase I was using them. I decided to revisit this one and do a fresh new mix. It’s a long-ish guitar-centric instrumental. Now, to be clear, I don’t consider my self much of a player… I’m more of a piano/keyboard kinda guy, so this was a rather bold (so it felt at the time) attempt to get out of my comfort zone. The guitar in question is a Chinese built Squire Strat. And yes, it’s another AI video - so if you have particular adverse sensitivities in that area - consider this a public mental health advisory:
I like it , nice groove ,is that a Wurlitzer, it goes great with the guitar, the guitar sounds top ,well constructed parts and nice rhythm parts ,the track would sit nicely on pink floyds obscured by clouds album .although Dave Gilmore might have something to say about your bends , but I wouldn’t lol, Video goes with it nice too ,very good mix ,wish i could mix like that.

The EP you hear is the Amped Elektra VSTi - using one of the stock presets.
I wouldn’t worry about the bends, there are different trains of thought on bends ,the edge from U2 wouldn’t bend a note on record or live “was un cool” untill he did but had to be talked into it ,if you bend in tune and give it a little wobble you are a rock guitarist and not cool and probably practice guitar too much according to some probably punks, if you bend it a bit out of tune with defo no wobble you’re cool according to bands like Oasis although I’ve never heard that quote but they would probably think the same as U2 ,Jimi Hendrix bent them well and was cool ,I think bends probably lost their coolness when Paul Kossoff died. I love Angus Young he’s kool
