Does anyone else find it frustrating & odd that we cannot Export a Video with 24 bit or 32 bit float Audio in Cubase ? It’s 2026 and who works with 16 bit anymore ?
Just a Feature Request.
Video Export is hobbled in Cubase compared to Nuendo. You might need to upgrade to get what you’re asking for, among other video export features that only Nuendo has.
There is no difference between Nuendo and Cubase Pro in the used AAC encoder. An upgrade is not necessary.

Yes, Windows 11. I kind of resent having to upgrade to Nuendo just get get the export feature. Maybe it’s because it’s called ‘ Cubase Pro ‘ ? Anyhow, I’ve found a Program that seems to suit my meagre requirements & will probably use that instead of he upgrade.

FYI, as mentioned by Johnny, you don’t have to upgrade to Nuendo to get export video - Cubase also has export video.
Both Cubase and Nuendo are restricted to an MP4 container with AAC encoding for the audio.
