To put my string trio arrangements of pop songs on ArrangeMe (Hal Leonard Publishing) I need to make a video of the arrangement being played. In Finale, it’s simply a matter of playing the arrangement showing the score. In Dorico, what is the best mode to use? I would like to have a clean looking score with the playhead advancing so people can see and hear what’s being played. In Dorico the cleanest look is in the Print mode, but there is no moving playhead. In the Write mode the playhead is there, but there are other unnecessary things such as frame break, system break, bar number in a gray field above each bar, etc. As an example, I imported an xml file of my arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody (attached to this post). Also, I put in the copyright info and arranger info in the Project Info page, but it doesn’t appear in the score. And how do I get rid of the double title? You need to change the token[1] for {@projectArranger@} or {@flowArranger@} (or just write the information in the space, due the line break).
You can remove the flow heading [2] or delete it in Engrave Mode, and, considering that you will need to make changes in the first page, can be - here - a good option (I always take care with changes in this mode ), due additional information (and cover):
About video, for this purpose, well, some options… here, with two single pages horizontally. Note that was necessary make adjusts with Dorico window (or, minimize a little) and also with zoom, due the page changes and to fit, as the example, two pages. Evidently, it depends your video source/size:
You also can change the background color to blank (instead the gradient blue) in Preferences > Colors to looks a full blank page:
