Video output (multiple simultaneous) feature request

Hello,

For post-production workflows, it would be extremely useful to support multiple simultaneous video outputs.

For example, video playback could be sent to a Blackmagic video card while also being displayed in the built-in video window at the same time. This would be particularly helpful during attended sessions with clients connected via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar remote collaboration platforms.

Ideally, video delay compensation should be available for at least one of the outputs (e.g., the Blackmagic output) to ensure proper synchronization with the audio playback.

This feature would greatly improve flexibility for modern post-production and remote review workflows.

We use a small ATEM controller in our video chain, which allows us to switch between video/camera and others to the TEAMS client.

Fredo:
Hi Fredo, Thank you for your input and your reply. My concern is not about routing the video output to clients. We already handle that through OBS and a dedicated controller setup. What I’m looking for is a workflow where, in the control room, I have a dedicated video monitor that permanently displays the video output coming directly from Nuendo—for example via a Blackmagic video card running in sync. At the same time, I have a second TV in the control room connected as an additional computer display. Ideally, this screen would show Nuendo’s video window as well as the script/text window, which is then mirrored to the recording booth. From there, OBS allows me to create and send any layout I need to clients in various configurations. For my workflow, however, it is essential that this dual video output setup works as described above. I know this has been brought up several times before, but I have to mention it again: in Pro Tools this is possible, and it has significantly simplified the workflow.
