Vienna Ensemble Pro - how to run plugins over network?

It’s not in the manual but I want to know how to run plugins over the network’d Vienna Ensemble Pro (from my macbook slave to Mac Pro host).

e.g. I have a lead guitarist putting down a track in cubase. I want to add Amplitube 3 within my slave machine but assign it to my host so I can use that effect on the guitar channel in cubase. Just no where to find out how to do this?

VE Pro only runs VSTi’s (instruments) over the network, not effects, though I believe it has been mentioned that a future update may support this, and a new version of VE Pro is about to be launched - so maybe you won’t have to wait long…
