Some time ago I had a period of using Logic for Vienna Ensemble setups. It was very easy to recall finished setups by just saving and recalling Track Stacks. Everything in the multi-timbral VE was setup with routing, outputs from VE, effects, etc. Just 1 click and it loaded the prepared VE instance on the slave.
In Nuendo/(Cubase) I can’t find anything like it. First of all VE needs to be a rack instruments with a bunch of midi channels. The output configuration can’t be saved in any way, except when creating a project template.
So whenever I have a project and suddenly want to use my slave, I either need to setup everything from scratch or create a new project with my VE template and import my current tracks into it (and lose channel routing).
Did I miss something? No ai is giving me any good answer, so trying with humans. Asking for advice. Thank you
