Hallo, ich möchte gerne unter die letzten drei Achtelnoten eine punktierte Viertelnote einfügen. Wenn ich die punktierte Viertel einfügen will, verschwinden die oberen Achtelnoten. Mit welchem Werkzeug kann ich das bewerkstelligen?
I think you want to put the dotted quarter in a second voice.

Select the first of the eight notes, hit enter, Shift + v, then the dotted quarter.

Hello, I would like to insert a dotted quarter note underneath the last three eighth notes. When I try to insert the dotted quarter note, the upper eighth notes disappear. What tool can I use to do this?

You would do this using Shift-V to create a new voice during note input. Please activate voice colors in the View menu to see what’s going on. Later, if you want to switch back to the first voice or alternate between voices, just press V (without the Shift key).
