View mode default for parts vs score

I generally like to work on my score in Galley view mode and that is set up as my default view.
But I like to see parts in page view mode more often than not.

Is there a way to set different default view modes for parts vs score?

I could not give you a definitive answer to your specific question. Just a tip: there is a keyboard shortcut in Write mode (Cmd-alt-1 for page view and Cmd-alt-2 for galley view) which I find very useful (and fast).

Having a different default view type for each type of layout is a good idea, kloewen, which I’ll make a note of for future consideration.
