Hello all,
I was wondering if it’s possible to view the Play and Write at the same time? I would like to adjust some of the play settings while looking at the score.
I have a feeling it isn’t, so what I’ve been doing is exporting a PDF and looking at that while making edits in the play window.

Just open a second window:
Menu-> Window - > New Window
In one window switch to write mode and to play mode in the other.
By the way, on Mac there is a little app called ‘Magnet’ that helps you quickly arrange multiple windows on one screen. It’s not free but I think its worth the small price 
Thanks. I do that all the time in Sibelius, Excel, etc. I can’t believe I didn’t think of looking for that, but that’s why I ask the forum!

In 2019, no. In 2022 (in Dorico 4), sure, you can show the piano roll, playing techniques etc. in the lower zone of Write mode.
