Viewing Selected Staves like in Finale - Select Staff Set

This was a valuable tool in Finale. I could select for example just the strings and hear only their playback. Is this possible in Dorico and if so, how do I it? Help

Welcome to the forum.

In Galley view you will find a very powerful instrument filter, once filtered only those instruments will be played.

In addition to @Janus you could also select the first notes of the strings and hit P

In Galley View you can do the same in Dorico. SHIFT-select some notes vertically and press P
