Violins Section Not Appearing in the Instrument Window

From an imported XML file, in Setup>Players, I would like to ‘Change Instrument’ from (XML) ‘violin’, to Dorico Violins (1). NB this is a violin section.

…The instrument window pops up, but under ‘Stings’, only ‘Violin’ appears as a choice of instrument for violin/violins. Why is Violin section not in the instrument window?

I know that a ‘Section Player’ can be instantiated from the bottom left of the main work window. - Does this mean that I have to instantiate a section player from there, and then use the ‘Move instrument to player’ command?

I think so, since we can’t change a solo player to a section player.
