Virtual Instruments not recording when played into C11

Hi all,
For some reason, I can no longer actually record any virtual instruments in C11. I have opened an Instrument track, named it, enabled record and monitor buttons. hit record and nothing actually is recorded into my Timeline. Any suggestions? I have done a search already…

Problem solved! I learned that the VI keyboard is not for actual recording, only for auditioning sounds. Darn it, that was too easy.

Haha, I’ve done that before.

There is an on-screen keyboard built in to Cubase if you weren’t aware:-

Handy if you haven’t got a keyboard plugged in.
