Virus VST crashed and won't open

I was working with the EQ built into Cubase when the Virus TI VST crashed and it won’t open anymore. So far I’ve tried replacing the VST files and restarting my computer. I still get the same initial error message that says
“A serious problem has occurred: Please try to save your project under another name and then restart Cubase7.exe, if this problem persists contact Steinberg Technical support with a description of what you do to create the problem.”
Any ideas?

UPDATE: In fact, Cubase won’t open ANY VST Instruments

I don’t have the same problem here:

Cubase 7.0.2 Virus 5.0.3.0

It’s been working fine for the past few days I’ve had the Virus.

You posted an issue about having a problem w/the VirusTi.
I gave you the solution but you never replied back if it worked or not.

Now you are having another issue with the same Device.

Can you at least let me know if the 1st problem was “fixed”… That would be courteous. :wink:
