For the traveling musician like myself who is on a laptop the vast majority of the time, a few items added to the peripheral areas of the workspace (status bar, etc.) would allow all Zones to be closed much of the time maximizing the visible score area during note entry.
A quick visual reference of the following could be incorporated into what’s visible with all Zones closed:
1. Current Layout in Title Bar [Flow 1 in Title: Piano]
2. A box in the left-side Toolbox Bar showing real-time status of note entry selections including Duration, Accidental and Articulation(s)
3. Status of Filter (Select Only / Deselect Only) and Properties (Local / Global) in the Status Bar.
