When selecting vocal stves join, the indicated part of flow1 also connects. Is there a way to prevent that connection? The vocal in flow2 must connect.

Is there a way to unblock only part of it?

If you want the barline joins to change at bar 5, select something in that bar and insert a Bracket and Barline Change (Engrave mode > Bracketing).

How do barline joins work? When I select them, sometimes only three are connected, and if I select again, they split into 2/2 and connect. What concept determines how they connect?
