Hi,

how would you realize following idea.

Normally i use an EQ, compressor, reverb and delay for vocals ( we have 2 vocalist, lead and background).

The EQ and compressor is the same for every song, so I would realize it on a global level. Reverb and delay is special/individually for every song.

Any idea how to do this in Vst live?

Oh lovely!

  • Create connections, name them, etc…
  • Create STACKS for each of your “INPUT-CHANNEL-STRIPS” (say, 2 vocalist, lead, background)
  • Put the “same” fx-es to the STACKS (i prefer into MIXER-INSERTs, but you can use STACK inserts too)
  • Reverb and Delay can be automated for each songs via the Automation channel (or via MIDI controlling)
