Yes, you can use the Jump Bar to add a key command that will filter for whatever voice you want.
Preferences / Key Commands. Select the Drop Down Menu for Filter. Among the (long) list of choices are up-stem voices 1 through 4 and down-stem voices 1-4, all up-stem voices and all down-stem voices.
Select the one you want. In the right-hand column, look for “Jump Bar Alias”. Type in a keystroke(s) you’ll easily remember, then select “Add Alias” then click Close.
For example, here’s an alias I’ve set up for “filter down-stem voice 1”
Select the measure(s) you want to work on.
J (for Jump Bar)
Type your alias – dv1 in my example.
Notes will be selected.
You can use the same process to create aliases for filtering, select to end of system or end of flow, for viewing or hiding signposts, just about anything. Once you explore the jump bar and see how it works, you won’t go back to clicking through menus.
