I hope I will try to describe this issue the best I can.
So…I drug and drop a wav file in Cubase Pro 8.
I check the audio statistics and I get True Peak at 0.06 and 0.04
I export the audio…without any volume chances…all in null position
and the new file’s statistics show True Peak at -2.56 and -2.56 db
Not only it chanced the volume of the sample but it also interfered with the stereo image and the volume difference of Left and Right channel. Needless to say the wav files once it was export from Cubase it sounded smaller and not as wide as the original.
Any idea why and how to solve this?
