Sounds like you have this set high?
no, that’s strange, because by default it’s 0.01 at the output
attenuation of the input signal, it turns out that it does not work because 0.01 is an instant and nothing should be heardHave you tried to move it up to 0,1-0,2 seconds ? Maybe there is a problem with values in cents of second?
Yes, hello, I tried it, but it seems like it doesn’t work at all.
Should be fixed with the next version (Friday we hope).
Thank you, let’s wait until Friday
VST Live 2.2.60 the problem is not solved
Solved here…then we need a project file from you (.vlprj file will do), or a step-by-step repro.
Oh, sorry. This fix needed to be posponed to the next version (tomorrow, we hope).
2.6 is a public release, it was made from the version before. We need a few days where no more changes are possible, this came later, sorry.
And you thought that I was complaining on purpose, I definitely have nothing else to do)
Thank you, we’ll wait until tomorrow)
I did not, otherwise wouldn’t have spent so much time with this.
At an average of 72 tasks a day in various areas (code, reply, build, test, build installers for multiple targets, prepare release, pass to production etc etc), it can happen, at least we apologize and stand up for it.
Yes, thank you, I understand how difficult it really is, but I just never write without objective reasons, and I always try to identify the problem and put it on the shelves. Everything else is clear to me, we’ll wait for the new release, I just decided to check right away and remind about the problem
Got it, and thank you!
Just my cent and I know there is the sustain option… but in reality… with the stompboxes or with my TC Voicelive 3ex it’s just simply switching exactly like this ![]()
So, we solved one problem well, sorted out the sustain and transition. But another problem appeared: now after creating the second part and assigning a stack to it, the first part and its stack stopped playing sound (we do not take into account the sound from the loop - look at the indicators).
I’ll add that if we create a 3rd part in this Song 1 and add a stack to it, then the sound will be absent in both the first and second parts
this is in VST Live 2.2.61 in yesterday’s VST Live 2.2.60 there is sound in parts, I checked
You are correct, unfortunately. It mutes the input channel but “forgets” to un-mute it in the case where the input is the same as that of a Stack of the previous Part. This was exactly what we tried to implement as you so wished…it does not mute the input if it had been used in the previously active Part. But it also does not un-mute it, which is a bug and makes the Stack die forever. Will fix asap.
Great, thanks, we’ll wait for the fix.
Thank you! Everything works fine now
2.2.120, and as they say, “Hello, here we are.”
I usually use the global stack, but then NAM 2 came out, so I decided to try switching stacks in PART.
But here it is, as always, a year-old bug has returned.
Maybe we’ll finally get at least one stable version? Or is this an impossible task???
The problem is, where does the sound in the sound group in PART 1 come from again when there’s not even a signal sent to it!!!
