I noticed that there is a big difference in volume between vst presets and wav files browsed from the mediabay, this is completely normal considering that most wav files are normalized from 0 to -3 db approximately (depends on the libraries) and instead the vstpresets are saved with a much lower volume inside the instruments to avoid exceeding 0db and distortion, usually the maximum peak of any preset reaches -6 db.
This creates a lot of discrepancy when browsing sounds that are mixed between wav and vstpresets from the mediabay, sometimes from a vst preset I don’t hear anything, so I turn up the volume, and then it breaks my ears when I switch to a wav file, so I’m forced to lower and raise the volume continuously, and I hope I don’t forget to do it so as not to hurt my hearing.
The solution would be to have two separate volume levels from the mediabay instead of a general central fader, one volume fader for vstpreset and one for wav files.
