Volume handle problem Cubase 15 pro

Hi. Is anyone else having this problem. When I try to adjust an audio clip gain using the volume slider, the moment I click on the volume handle (on the event) the volume level drops to a minus level making it difficult to know what the original volume of the clip was. Any thoughts. Using MAc studio M4 Max with latest Sequioa. Cheers. Jon.

No idea, but per default you can hold down Cmd + Shift and then click on the event and drag up/down in order to change the event gain. Maybe that reduces the need to click the volume icon in the first place.

Ok. Cheers. Jon.

You can also turn that silly volume slider off completely here (show event volume control = never):

Then just use Cmd + Shift and drag at the top of the clip like Johnny said. I miss the previous little white square at the top of any audio clip that made it easy to click and drag volume. The slider is ridiculous as you said you click on it and BAM your volume is messed up by 10db. Cmd + Shift and drag is the next best thing (I am getting used to it).

Thanks for that. I’ll do that. Cheers. Jon.
