Hi,
new Error:
1.) Start VSTlive with “Scan Plugins on Start” Yes
The Steinberg Plugins are visible.
Cannot confirm or reproduce using VST Live 1.1.30.645. Pls try to narrow:
- new project, scan on start is on
- insert autopan to MAIN channel
- save “test”
- switch scan on start to off
- exit
- start again, load “test”
- autopan is present and working, and all Steinberg plugs can be selected
So what’s different for you?
Hi,
no difference.
Which installation package include the Steinberg-Plugins?
I will try to install and test again.
Heino
Steinberg Download Assistent has it all, select VST Live and there you should find everything.
Hi,
new installation of the full package - no change, same behavior.
Its only a problem with the Steinberg-Plugins.
Heino
Did that too, no change either, works like a charm.
Could you pls. try Help/Clean all user Data and start over, still happens?
If so, we need more details. Do you have VST2 pathes added? Changed VST3 pathes or anything the like? My colleagues also cannot reproduce this so there must be some special condition on your end that we need to figure out.
Hi,
Help/Clean solved the problem.
But to clean ALL user data could not be a solution.
ITS ONLY A PROBLEM WITH THE STEINBERG PLUGINS !
This action has increased my blood pressure.
Heino
Hi,
my suggestion:
mark the plugins which could not be loaded.
add a button for selective delete and insert user data for this plugin.
Please discuss with Mr. Spork.
Heino
… which Windows version are you running? Any special settings for your application windows?
Thank you,
Michael.
… sorry, I can reproduce it now. Disable the “Scan Plug-Ins On Start” will remove all internal VST Live Plug-Ins. Workaround : Do not touch that Preferences if you are working with the internal Plug-Ins.
We’ll fix it and we’ll keep you in the loop about the bug-fixing state.
Michael.
… hm. I have a guess because it is not always reproducible (see musicullum). It’s now working? Right? Could it be that you have “moved” the “VST Live Plug-in Set.vst3” which is installed to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VST Live\VST3 folder? That could trouble VST Live but we’ll add some preventions to the next update.
Please let us know when the problem returns, then we need some log files from you.
Michael.
Thanks
" Could it be that you have “moved” the “VST Live Plug-in Set.vst3” which is installed to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VST Live\VST3 folder?"
No
Windows 10 Pro 22h
Expand the Song Channel (“OO…OX”), maybe one of the tracks sends there?
Otherwise pls send the .vlprj file to examine.
Hi,
it’s not a problem with the actual version !
I’ve send the following message to Mr. Spork:
"Hi Mr. Spork,
I have another question and wish:
I send an error - problem : no routed groups in a song send audio output.
I’ve controlled my backups - This project is build with the old release.
In the new version there are no problems with the routing.
Please document all fixed bugs in the release updates. Are the fixed bugs only for
new projects or a repair of the older project or a workaround for this projects.
Thanks
Heino
