I tried loading renoise redux in cubase and set. made it play its “song” ( or phrase ) . then deleted the samples while keeping its sequnce , then activated its midi out.
So input in cubase inspector , midi in to whatever vst is active on the track . midi out (your vst or so ) , how can i make cubase make use of the midi coming out of redux?
In the image, a Redux sends MIDI to a Groove Agent SE; both are located in Instrument Tracks. The Redux’s output device is set to Plugin: Output. The MIDI input of the GASE track is set to the output of the Redux track. Redux thus transmits its MIDI to the GASE, which plays it back with its own sounds. To synchronize with Cubase, the Host Mode (button with two arrows) has to be activated on the Redux. If the Redux shouldn’t be audible, the track can be muted or the audio output set to No Bus.
