When I record vocals, I leave some of the attempts in a muffled state just in case. The best attempts remain enabled. But when you receive high-resolution files, all the recorded fragments become unmuted. After that I don’t know which option was the best. I have to analyze all the options again.
Do you just record the stereo mix, or (also) individual channels (multitrack recording)?
Stereo mix. On separate tracks.
