VST CONNECTION ISSUE

Friends, I have Cubase 4 version 4.5.2 on my PC. I’m able to record and use the software with no problems recording with audio from my interface. However, I have a Roland XP-50 keyboard that I would like to connect and record via my midi connection in my Cubase. This is the problem I’m having. On my VST connection menu. There are no tabs but Input & Output. I don’t have the Group/fx, Add External/Fx, & External Instrument tab like I see in the user manual and tutorials. I would like to know what I need to do to get these tabs in order to configure my Midi Instruments. I’ve looked all over this software and I can’t find this tabs anywhere. Thanks alot in advance.

Maybe LE4 doesn’t support those functions.

Setup keyboard as per normal, i.e.kbd midi connected, kbd audio to interface audio ins, kbd local off.
