Hello, first off let me start by saying that I am new to the whole ordeal with recording music with advanced software, so please take it easy on me 
My Lap top specs are :
My studio set up : I have an akai mpk 249 midi keyboard running usb straight to my laptop, I have a profx8v2 mixer interface by mackie running via usb to my laptop, then my krk rokit 5’s are connected to my profx8.
Images of my device setups and other things in Cubase artist 8 : (I didn’t know what exactly to post so I took multiple pics)
What I want to do is have my vst instrument track play only through my monitors while recording and after recording.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have been researching for about 10 hours.
